Spring, please….
It's about time to update/reconnect with others? There is always a balance to be keep with blog writing and posting too much info. Especially now.....These past 2 years have seen so many changes (read: time for us to know who He has created us to be, and where He is leading !)
I've come to terms with what we've been TOLD, and what to accept.
I aim always to be teachable...... I follow what the Word of God says and pray for those who have made the choice to go their own way...I will aim to do what the Lord tells me...and hopefully, when He brings it up! (Late obedience doesn't work too well for me.)
March is always a sorta turning point in the year for me. Sigh. I'm SO glad that we're into spring, though it was 18* this morning, snow still on the ground. The spring bulbs started inside are not doing as well as the outside pots this year...no clue...but I'll take daffodils and jonquils anyway they pop up!
Meals have been soup-full, to say the least. Maybe that extra turkey didn't help..but thankful for hearty cold weather food. Not too keen on more than a couple leftover meals..so into the freezer they go. On a day full of other things, they are 'just the ticket'.
Been sewing a couple warm weather tops. Yes, Hopeful. Knitting is ho-hum, but always something on needles..socks usually.
Enjoying the sun filled kitchen that got a facelift last winter. Will need to change the blog banner to reflect the new space.
I especially like the tablecloth. It’s taped on…oh, Bea and Marietta are the little wooden 'girls', about 2" tall. Bea has a blue dress on and is arranging flowers on the upper shelf. Marietta is on the lower shelf, to the left sweeping, beside the little ceramic cat.
😉. Til later, D.

Spring... oh yes, please come quickly. I am so excited to see pretty flowers and garden veggies get started.
ReplyDelete18* eeech. Wish I could share some heat with you. 😆
Happy to see another post. Enjoy reading it.
This period has been a good time for reflection. We are alike in that and in the joy little things like some cute figurines on a shelf can bring. God is always good!
ReplyDeletebusyness is Springtime here, but I find need for play, as well as reflection from His word, and the chores!
