Easter is the Hope celebration

So many things change as we transition from season to season.
  Sometimes it's winter to spring.
Sometimes it's one location to another. Other times it's a transition of jobs, or life stages.
We've all transitioned. Nothing is stagnated.
My 'best' change was when I became a follower of Jesus Christ. I heard the message of the cross, and although I couldn't quite make sense of it, I became a Christian.
Going to church for 25 years didn't make me a Christian.
Only hearing what the Bible says about how to be a Christ follower
and agreeing to that...saying you believe, and going forward to learn about this
Wonderful plan of salvation works.
Lately I'm reading from the Message Translation of the Bible. Yes, I'm more comfortable in the version I already know best, but this version is comfortably clear.

Thinking of our Easter Sunday celebration, observing His Resurrection, I'm in 1 Peter: 1.

God the Father has his eye on each of you and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus.  May everything good from God be yours!

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we've been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven-and the future starts now!  God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you'll have it all -life healed and whole.
                                                           1Peter 1:2-5

Have a blessed week. Run to the One who loves you best and has the perfect plan for you, D.
