Forced jonquils and biscotti, hoorah!

Can anyone post less
frequently than me?  Seems blog reading has had better days, but perhaps there is still some that find it a good choice? In attempting to 'speak', it seems we need to be cautious with our privacy, doesn't it?
I will write with that in mind....
Last spring's weather seemed normal, but left  us in a forest of downed limbs, even trees.  The ensuing hotter than our usual summer found me  rethinking planting areas....🌳.
Yard and garden, produce, freezing and canning all eventually got sorted we settled into fall and winter mode.
I'm  back to April again...with new plans and new comforts.   All possible through  His kindness and that special ability He has that fully equips me all the 'next things'.

So fun to pull out recipes, isn't it? I've got decades of mine,  tons of cookbooks, my mothers entire box, some  of Grandmothers....also a collection of  very vintage books acquired along the quest for 'what works and what do we like'.

Couple days back, it was a  random mash-up of whatever seemed biscotti.

This week amidst the rain, I really must start some herb and flower seeds. I'm  planning on using old plastic totes to make an outdoor mini(temp)  greenhouse. when it's properly begun, I'll post it!

This last picture?  It's the Hoorah! part of the blog post title!! As I was clearing pots of forced bulbs (past their prime), Mr. Hoorah! surprised me.  He was snoozing on the arm of the deacon bench.  He might still be there....
