Tiny Daffodils?

Weather here, who cares!  The kitchen is up and functional,
after 2 1/2 months of it 'not being'.
The bulbs are nicely blooming on the windowsill. It's truly a garden window, and is so cheerful these days of  low of 17*---climbing to 54*.  Inside is room temperature. Thankyou.
The tall daffodils are about spent after climbing sky high.
The 3 little bulbs are miniature, and ready to open.
In fall, I buy large mixed bags of daffs and tulips, and try to sort them😁.
That always is a creative way of SURPRISE!
(and some results are interesting).
Some years you need somethings to look forward to?
Anyway. the flowers never disappoint.  God's handiwork cannot be changed  by my plantings.

While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22

He tends His own and supplies our needs. We follow Him, and yes, are sometimes corrected.  He's that caring and gentle...to see us astray, and reach into our lives to whisper in our ears,
'Are you sure that is best?'
'Did my Word tell you to come to that conclusion?'
'Are you listening to the Holy Spirit?'
'You did remember that I love you, and nothing slips through my fingers without my knowledge?'

Yes, there have been many, many things to challenge our world, but I'm thinking that a small pot of tiny daffodils is more that ok with me. I'm thankful for all the changes, the losses and gains, the winters and summers, the seedtimes and harvests.
I'm sorta wondering if that small pot contains yellow crocuses?

  1. What a beautiful spring surprise. I think the yellow crocus will be another great surprise.
Gods blessings can definitely be seen. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Friday update...The little buds WERE daffs, not crocuses...they actually had stopped growing, and dried up, and I needed to catch my breathe with that, BUT...
I was amazed at the answer to my situation...the mini daffs ALWAYS bloom on March 19th...but not this year. After clipping some from the other windowsill pot, I placed them in water to keep them a tad longer. This morning the shriveled buds had company. The picked ones in water, opened and are producing the most heavenly scent ever! SO appropriate in this pre-
Easter season! I'll put a new pic at end of the post.
